Welcome to Friendly Pickle LLC! This is our Club Waiver and Release of Liability.

Where the paddles are light, and the fun is serious!

1. Acknowledgment of Risks

By signing below, I acknowledge that pickleball is an exciting sport that involves risks, including, but not limited to, accidental collisions with fellow players, unintentional paddle whacks, and the occasional stray pickleball, fall, stretching beyond my body’s ability, or encounter with a fixed object. I understand that while we strive for safety, injuries may occur, and I accept these risks with a smile (and maybe a slight grimace).
I, the undersigned, hereby release, waive, and forever discharge Friendly Pickle LLC, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action that may arise from my participation in pickleball activities, including any injuries sustained while practicing my game or trying to impress others with my questionable skills.
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Friendly Pickle LLC from any and all claims, damages, losses, or expenses, including attorney fees, arising out of my participation in pickleball activities. This includes, but is not limited to, claims resulting from my own enthusiastic attempts at executing a perfect backhand or stellar overhead smash.
I confirm that I am in good (enough) health and capable of participating in physical activities. If I have any doubts about my health, I’ll consult my doctor before attempting any high-level pickleball maneuvers (like running for a ball!).
I understand that the primary goal of participating in activities at Friendly Pickle LLC is to have fun, make new friends, and enjoy some friendly competition. I’ll do my best to keep the spirit light and the laughter loud. Also, I hereby agree to be nice or leave.
This waiver shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, where pickleball reigns supreme (or at least a close second to football).

I understand that while participating in activities at Friendly Pickle LLC, I will be recorded by video, photographed, and audio recorded. I hereby give Friendly Pickle LLC full and unlimited permission to use my name, image, and likeness for promotion and marketing purposes (including and not limited to all print and digital formats) without restriction or compensation. We’ll do our best to have fun, show your best angle(s), and be respectful to all involved.

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this waiver.
